Have you ever wondered how the world would change if we could understand the plants and their needs as if they could talk to us? In Nurtio we are actually making that happen.
We are working on a smart virtual gardener, a sensor and an AI-based tool that makes plant maintenance completely predictable and affordable for the end-users. This technology is primarily designed for the professional gardening industry, and many of our launching customers have already admitted it will totally reinvent the ways of their work.
Now is the most exciting time for our engineering team as we are approaching the market entry. That also means that we need to scale the production of our sensors from 10 to 100 pcs, and then to 1000 and 10000. That means that we need to thoroughly test every iteration and critically analyze the findings to make every next batch even more perfect than the previous one.
With that in mind, we are looking for a helping hand that will join our team as a Mechanical engineering intern.
What you will do:
Be on top of the quality control when the new batch of the sensors arrives from production
Plan out, carry out and document the experiments that would allow us to test whether the product is meeting the program of the customers` demands
Participate in the discussions on adapting the product design to make it more optimal in production and/or user experience
Who we are looking for:
a BSc or MSc student or graduate with a background in mechanical/industrial engineering
someone with a hands-on attitude and great debugging skills
a meticulous engineering talent who never misses a single detail
some practical UX/UI experience will be a huge advantage
What we offer:
a three month paid internship starting in January 2021, with a possibility to extend it by another three month
an excellent opportunity to work side-by-side with the experienced professionals both in product management and commercial strategy, and learn from them
a role that will take you directly to the very heart of tech entrepreneurship in South-Holland – a YES!Delft startup hub
Does this look like a good match given your plans and ambitions?
Then don`t hesitate and send us your CV and cover letter at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Best of luck with your application and hopefully see you on our team!
