March has been action-packed, resulting in two new partnerships. Sounds good, right?

March started off with the celebration of International Women's Day, which is special in our company context. That is because without the passion and the never-ending drive that our CEO Iryna van der Meij has, there wouldn't be any Nurtio Technologies.

To spread the awareness of the women that make a change in our society, Iryna participated in the campaign pioneered by Equals. The movement ensures that women have access to role models that can inspire, empower and give them the confidence to pursue careers in tech, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

We partnered up with a Dutch company LEAF

LEAF, which stands for “Let’s Expand A Forest”, approaches indoor green in a brand-new way by offering their customers' furniture pieces with plants embedded in them. Due to the modular structure, Leaf products are extremely easy to order and install, and with their help, just any office, store, or restaurant can become green in a matter of hours.

However, everyone knows that indoor greenery can get fairly expensive - not just during the installation but mainly during further maintenance. And this is where Nurtio comes into play! From now on, every Leaf customer can equip their plant trays with the Nurtio sensors and completely remove all the guesswork from the maintenance process - due to the smart algorithms and alerting system of Nurtio, all the plant needs will be as clear as day.

We kicked off the first joint installation together with LEAF at one of the newest La Place Restaurants in HEMA Hilversum earlier this week.

We are very much looking forward to seeing how our joint effort will help La Place Restaurants manage plant installations in their restaurants more easily and cost-effectively. And we also believe that this newest, high-tech approach to plantscaping will allow many more customers to bring nature to their premises in a way that they might not have thought was possible.

Finally, we ended March on a perfect note with another partnership announcement - this time with Nature's Green, the company behind the world-known NextGen Living Walls.

The industry knows NextGen Living Walls as one of the easiest and most efficient vertical systems to install on the market. NextGen Living Walls can be used with both soil- and hydro plants, both indoor and outdoor, both in small projects and truly gigantic ones. NextGen Living Walls has been on the market for about 10 years, and today it is already selling and winning hearts globally. You can find them pretty much anywhere in the world - from Stockholm to Dubai, Sydney to San Francisco, and everywhere in between.

NextGen Living Walls are not just the easiest to install, they are also the easiest to maintain. And to make maintenance even more easier, Nurtio Technologies has provided sensors to optimally monitor the ambient temperature, water-, light- and fertilizer level of NextGen Living Walls.

Since today, every new or existing customer of Nature’s Green can order a sensing module for their NextGen Living Wall that will help them fine-tune the irrigation and set up the alerting system to notify about any unexpected events - for example, malfunctioning lighting or a sudden drop or increase in temperature.

For us, this cooperation means the world - actually, quite literally. Nurtio is already active in 9 countries, and this new cooperation will allow us to push the horizon even further.

Keep following us, as April holds something thrilling in store for you!
